Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Hoppus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Borknagar Solefald!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoppus throws a sloppy head kick and Solefald moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hoppus.
Solefald ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoppus moves away.
Solefald cracks Hoppus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Solefald has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hoppus to stand back up!

It looks like Mark Hoppus has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hoppus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Solefald throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Hoppus tumbling to the canvas!

Hoppus is rocked!
Solefald pushes down on Hoppus's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Solefald trying to mount his opponent but Hoppus defends it.
Solefald works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hoppus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hoppus is breathing heavily.
BOOM! Solefald connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Solefald has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hoppus's face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Hoppus that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Solefald fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oh Hoppus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoppus tries to hold on but Solefald postures up.
Hoppus seems to have got his legs back now.
Solefald lands a big elbow.
BOOM! Solefald connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Solefald is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hoppus can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Solefald postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hoppus in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hoppus to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
