Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Floyd Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jinker Bell!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Gordon. No joy for Bell on that attempt.
Bell shoots in for a takedown but Gordon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gordon throws a big counter combination but Bell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Gordon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bell misses with a wild combination.
Gordon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Gordon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bell lands a knee to the body.
Gordon has Bell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bell shoots for a double leg takedown but Gordon sprawls well. He's pushed Bell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bell shoots in looking for a takedown but Gordon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gordon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bell manages to circle out of the way.
Bell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gordon wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Gordon tries to pull guard but Bell forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Gordon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bell off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Bell moves into range and clinches up with Gordon.

Bell has clasped his hands together around Gordon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bell is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Gordon has the hooks in. Bell is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Bell just trying to survive but Gordon is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bell goes for a double leg but Gordon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gordon continues to drive forward.

Gordon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bell is aware though and is defending well.
Bell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gordon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gordon is keeping the position for now.
Gordon wants to get back to his feet but Bell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gordon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bell can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bell keeps the fight on the outside.
Bell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gordon avoids it really well and circles away.
Bell misses with a few strikes there.
Gordon wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Gordon takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Jinker Bell seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gordon.
Bell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bell gets slowly back to his feet.

Bell shoots in looking for a takedown. Gordon tries to sprawl out of it but Bell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gordon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Bell tries to get set, Gordon tries to push him back and clinch up but Bell manages to avoid the attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bell cracks Gordon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Gordon takes the fight into the clinch.
Gordon is trying to pull guard but Bell turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gordon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bell smiles and moves away.
Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gordon's waist but Gordon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gordon looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jinker Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Bell connects with a leg kick. Gordon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gordon to the mat! Gordon manages to get full guard.
Gordon is looking to stand back up but Bell counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gordon.

Bell ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bell no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gordon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jinker Bell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
