Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bill Brown!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a double jab.
It looked like Hayden was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Brown throws a body kick that misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hayden.
Hayden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hayden throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brown tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hayden is in Brown's guard.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown wants to sweep here but Hayden controlling him for the moment.
Brown is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hayden escapes and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Hayden is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hayden.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brown wants to improve his position but Hayden is controlling well.

Brown is looking to get back to full guard here but Hayden has managed to pass to side control instead.

Hayden shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Hayden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hayden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hayden is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Brown can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Henry Hayden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hayden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hayden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hayden has control of Brown's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brown regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Brown can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Brown is bucking up trying to escape but Hayden cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown wants to control but Hayden is having none of it.

Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hayden is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown.

Hayden lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brown down.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brown enables Hayden to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brown manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
