The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lyons wants to counter the offense by Tempest and move into the clinch position.

Tempest feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lyonss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Tempest counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lyons moves in looking to clinch but Tempest pushes him off.
Lyons shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tempest but Tempest pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Joey Tempest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tempest throws out the jab.

Tempest steps in with a hook that catches Lyons right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Tempest follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lyons looks absolutely devastated.
