The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishimura swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tuala ducks right into an uppercut from Ishimura.
Ishimura throws out a loose jab but Tuala uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ishimura thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tuala clobbers Ishimura with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ishimura changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Tuala ducks under a wild hook from Ishimura.
Ishimura moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ishimura throws a leg kick
and Tuala counters with a nice uppercut.
Tuala lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ishimura - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Tuala!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peleki Tuala!
After winning the bout, Peleki Tuala thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
