PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Anderson Penn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Paiva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Penn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Paiva's back instead.

Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paiva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paiva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
