These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garuntasticos lands with a shot to the body.
Garuntasticos just misses with a punch to the body.
Reed swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Garuntasticos missing with a left hand there. Reed was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Garuntasticos throws a leg kick but Reed sees it coming and moves out of range.
Reed appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Garuntasticos has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Reed is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Magestico Garuntasticos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garuntasticos dives in and grabs Reed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reed pushes down on Garuntasticos 's head and hops out.
Garuntasticos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Garuntasticos moves to clinch but Reed breaks away
and Reed counters with a nice uppercut.
Garuntasticos swings widly with a right hand
and Reed counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Garuntasticos tries to clinch up
and Reed counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Reed.

Garuntasticos is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Reed frees his head nicely. Oh but Garuntasticos has switched to an armbar! Reed is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
