Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Duvel. No joy for Rios on that attempt.
Rios drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rios thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Duvel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rios gets to his feet. Duvel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Rios wants to control from the top but Duvel keeps moving.

Rios trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Duvel manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Rios pulls Duvel in close to his closed guard and prevents Duvel from doing any damage or advancing position.

Rios thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Duvel trying to move into half guard but instead Rios has managed to sweep!
Duvel is trying to hold Rios in close to prevent damage but Rios has managed to pass into half guard.

Rios stands up and beckons Duvel to join him on the feet.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rios.
Rios is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Duvel will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Duvel wants to clinch up but Rios keeps it at a distance.

Duvel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rios is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duvel sees it coming and defends easily.

Rios is working for a kimura but Duvel is defending it quite comfortably.

Duvel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rios keeps the fight on the outside.
Rios shoots in and drives through. Duvel sprawls well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rios has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Duvel defend it? Rios steps over the head and cranks it - Duvel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rios!
