Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Levan Kvirkvelia (ranked 3217 p4p, 402 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 7716 p4p, 644 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Levan Kvirkvelia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
49 - 41 - 2, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kvirkvelia throws a quick inside leg kick. Kvirkvelia lands a jab to Poulter's midsection. Kvirkvelia closes the distance and pushes Poulter back into the cage. Kvirkvelia is trying to trip Poulter. He has hold of a leg but Poulter is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kvirkvelia persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Kvirkvelia engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Poulter looking for a sweep. Not yet Poulter, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kvirkvelia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Poulter misses with a straight right. Poulter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kvirkvelia. Poulter misses with a series of wild punches.
Kvirkvelia shoots in and gets a takedown into Poulter's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kvirkvelia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Poulter is keeping the position for now. Kvirkvelia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kvirkvelia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kvirkvelia controls from within his opponent's guard. Kvirkvelia with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kvirkvelia throws a big right hand that misses. Kvirkvelia slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kvirkvelia tries to counter with a takedown but Poulter is quick to defend against it. Kvirkvelia scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kvirkvelia slaps away a takedown attempt from Poulter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Poulter swings for the body but Kvirkvelia moves out of range.
Kvirkvelia connects with a good right hand that stumbles Poulter. Poulter circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kvirkvelia with a hook. Poulter throws a head kick that misses and Kvirkvelia counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kvirkvelia connects with a body shot that sends Poulter's belly button to the back. Kvirkvelia thuds his right hand into Poulter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Poulter misses the shot to the body. Kvirkvelia appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kvirkvelia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kvirkvelia slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Poulter looks winded! Kvirkvelia happy to just control the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kvirkvelia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Levan Kvirkvelia dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kvirkvelia drives through and clinches with Poulter against the cage.
Kvirkvelia lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kvirkvelia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Poulter backwards. Kvirkvelia digs a right hand into Poulter's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Poulter's gas tank. Kvirkvelia wants a takedown but no success here.
Kvirkvelia dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Kvirkvelia struggles to land a body shot inside as Poulter controls his hands.
Kvirkvelia lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Poulter backwards. Poulter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kvirkvelia is keeping busy. Kvirkvelia breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kvirkvelia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poulter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kvirkvelia controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Poulter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kvirkvelia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kvirkvelia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Poulter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kvirkvelia manages to avoid it. Poulter misses with a wild body shot. Kvirkvelia throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kvirkvelia, right into the meat.
Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poulter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kvirkvelia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Poulter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kvirkvelia counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poulter takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kvirkvelia connects with a looping right hand.
Poulter is rocked! Levan Kvirkvelia is winning the standup battle so far. Kvirkvelia closes the distance and clinches. Poulter is still on wobbly legs! Can Kvirkvelia finish him? A short right from Kvirkvelia. Kvirkvelia creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Poulter with a big uppercut! Poulter tries to clinch up but Kvirkvelia pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Poulter to the mat! Poulter covers up and Kvirkvelia unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Levan Kvirkvelia! Levan Kvirkvelia thanked the fans post fight for their support.
