The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster misses with a head kick.
Gavin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Buster stuns Gavin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gavin throws a sloppy head kick and Buster moves out of range easily.
Gavin wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body kick there by Buster.

Gavin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Buster goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

and Buster counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gavin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Buster - the referee stops the clock and Gavin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Buster. Gavin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Buster jabs Gavin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Gavin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Buster scoring well with a low kick there.

Gavin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Buster swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Busta Buster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buster thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gavin if he has to take too many more of those.

Gavin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gavin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Buster lands a nice hook to Gavin's body. Gavin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Buster lands a leg kick that knocks Gavin off balance momentarily.
Gavin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gavin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Buster is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gavin rather than just go for the knockout.
Gavin moves in looking to clinch but Buster pushes him off.
Buster plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Buster thows a body kick. Gavin tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Buster! Gavin is out on his feet! Buster rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gavin is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gavin is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
