Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ji Kwon Tae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keisuke Atoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Keisuke Atoshi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ji Kwon Tae! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keisuke Atoshi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tae throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Atoshi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Atoshi moves in looking to clinch but Tae pushes him off. Tae throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Atoshi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tae shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tae showed some decent athleticism there. Tae tries to stand and escape but Atoshi is controlling the position. Tae perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Atoshi kicks off Tae and gets to his feet. Tae throws a combination. Atoshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tae stalks Atoshi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Atoshi's face. Atoshi staggers backwards, shaken. Tae shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tae was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tae is standing up, even though he is in mount. Tae shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tae controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tae looking for a guillotine from mount but Atoshi is having none of it. Tae content just to control the position here. Tae gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Atoshi gets caught flat footed, as Tae shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tae decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tae lands a nice shot that snaps Atoshi's head back.
Tae takes the fight into the clinch. Tae breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Atoshi with a lazy takedown attempt and Tae counters with a leg kick. Tae lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Atoshi circles away quickly and effectively. Tae moves into range and clinches up with Atoshi. Tae breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tae fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Atoshi sprawls well initially but Tae persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tae slows the pace down in half guard. Tae gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Tae lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A combination from Tae does no damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tae gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tae breaks from the clinch.
Tae moves into the clinch successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ji Kwon Tae dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Tae scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Tae thuds his shin into the meat of Atoshi's side. Tae changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Atoshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tae knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Atoshi on the ground. Tae stands up and beckons Atoshi to his feet. Tae lands a high kick!
Tae closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tae breaks from the clinch.
Atoshi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Tae moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tae connects with a high kick. Atoshi is breathing heavily. Tae scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. A control attempt from Atoshi but he's now mounted! Atoshi is bucking up trying to escape but Tae cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Tae sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tae's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tae stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Tae throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Atoshi.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tae scores with a body shot.
Tae lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Tae gets a takedown into half guard. Tae scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Still in half guard, Tae seems content to control. Atoshi won't allow Tae to pass to mount. Tae seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tae passes to side control. Tae has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Atoshi takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tae shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Atoshi is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tae controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tae is standing up, even though he is in mount. Tae pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tae shoots for a takedown but Atoshi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tae drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tae taking a breather here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Atoshi is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ji Kwon Tae dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Tae scores with a kick to the midsection. Tae gets a clinch. Tae breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tae shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tae was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tae sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Atoshi is wriggling around trying to escape.
Tae is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Tae lands with a slapping head kick. Atoshi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tae drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ji Kwon Tae overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tae decides to stand up, so the ref orders Atoshi to his feet. Atoshi takes a jab right on the kisser.
Atoshi ducks right into an uppercut from Tae. Keisuke Atoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Atoshi tries to keep at a distance but Tae has taken the fight into the clinch. Tae manages to break the clinch.
Tae throws a right and a left that Atoshi avoids nicely. Tae clinches up against the cage. Tae is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Atoshi can do to turn this around?

Tae throws a combination. Atoshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tae, right into the meat.
Ji Kwon Tae is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tae goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Tae throws a series of strikes that have Atoshi backpedaling.
Tae shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tae was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tae controlling his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tae get's back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tae. Tae controlling from side mount. Tae decides to stand up, so the ref orders Atoshi to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Atoshi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tae. Atoshi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tae gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tae has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tae pulls Atoshi into guard.
Tae wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tae is pulling down on Atoshi's head to control his posture. Keisuke Atoshi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ji Kwon Tae is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Atoshi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Ji Kwon Tae showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tae has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
