The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Beltrao - just one landing.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beltrao.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Beltrao instigates a clinch.

Beltrao jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Beltrao is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beltrao wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.

Beltrao is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beltrao connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.

Beltrao seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Beltrao seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Beltrao lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
