Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ghandi Buddha (ranked 3659 p4p, 187 weight class) and Rudi Loens (ranked 23899 p4p, 349 weight class). Loens has chosen Best UFC entrance of all time!!! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ghandi Buddha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rudi Loens!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loens stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Buddha.
Loens dives in for a single leg takedown but Buddha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Buddha throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Loens drives through and clinches with Buddha against the cage.
Loens tries to circle away but Buddha has him pinned against the cage.
Buddha lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Loens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Buddha takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Loens tries for a takedown but Buddha sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Loens tries to clinch
and Buddha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Buddha lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Loens is rocked!

Loens is still on wobbly legs! Can Buddha finish him?
Buddha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Loens.
Loens is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Loens seems to have recovered his senses.
Loens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buddha sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ghandi Buddha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudi Loens.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Buddha pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Loens back to the cage. Buddha follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Loens uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buddha.
Loens changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Buddha lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Buddha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Loens was well out of range. Poor timing from Buddha.
Buddha loads up on a big right hand but Loens slips the punch.
Loens steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Buddha.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loens takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Loens throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buddha's waist but Buddha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Loens off to one side.
Buddha rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Loens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooh a lovely combination from Buddha sends Loens down but not out. Buddha dives into side control looking to finish.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Buddha scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Loens is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Buddha can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ghandi Buddha!
Ghandi Buddha bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Rudi Loens stepped up to the mic, saying 'sorry losing this fight, my opponent today was better as myself, no regrets, i'll be back better and stronger'.
