Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinsuke Nakamura (ranked 7351 p4p, 631 weight class) and Albert Pulkkinen (ranked 2679 p4p, 293 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nakamura might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rising Sun. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Albert Pulkkinen!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulkkinen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Nakamura doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pulkkinen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nakamura on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pulkkinen.
Nakamura misses with a takedown attempt
and Pulkkinen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nakamura has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pulkkinen finds it's way round the side to connect with Nakamura's head.

It looks like Shinsuke Nakamura has been cut.

Pulkkinen lands a big uppercut and Nakamura crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nakamura looks OK. Pulkkinen waves Nakamura back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nakamura fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinsuke Nakamura. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pulkkinen drops Nakamura with a big left hand! Nakamura is injured, injured bad! Pulkkinen jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
