Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Dittrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Hode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hode has chosen Arkansas Razorback Fight Song as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Dittrich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Hode! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hode feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dittrich sprawling to the canvas! Dittrich rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hode finish him?!
It looks like Jan Dittrich has been cut. Dittrich is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hode. Hode gets a powerful takedown and that's hurt Dittrich.
Dittrich is rocked! Hode tries to move to mount but Dittrich blocks the move with his legs. Oh Dittrich is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hode tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hode has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dittrich seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hode working away. Dittrich is looking to regain half guard here but Hode keeps moving and retains side control. Hode looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hode working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hode moves into full mount! Hode trying to control but Dittrich is having none of it. Hode has control of Dittrich's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dittrich regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hode goes for an armbar but Dittrich turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dittrich.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hode working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dittrich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dittrich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dittrich wants to control from the top but Hode keeps moving. Hode looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hode actively working from the bottom here. Hode is looking to get back to full guard here but Dittrich has managed to pass to side control instead. Hode working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dittrich controlling the position easily from mount. Dittrich looking to control but Hode is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hode tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Hode dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jan Dittrich's cut. That's time! Dittrich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dittrich throws a looping overhand right but Hode ducks down to avoid it. Nice body kick there by Dittrich. A telegraphed right hand from Dittrich misses the target. Hode misses with a takedown attempt - Dittrich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hode looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dittrich looks to throw the jab but Hode is out of range. Dittrich misses with a series of wild punches.
Dittrich thuds his right hand into Hode's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hode lands a jab to the head.
Hode looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dittrich! Hode is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dittrich can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hode pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Hode tries to control but Dittrich wriggling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hode is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dittrich has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dittrich! Hode looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hode is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dittrich won't allow Hode to sweep him here. Hode looking for a guillotine here but Dittrich defends easily.

Hode wants to sweep here but Dittrich controlling him for the moment. Hode looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dittrich puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Hode is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hode is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hode is looking for a triangle but Dittrich pushes his legs off easily.

Hode looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dittrich is one step ahead there. Dittrich has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Hode showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jan Dittrich's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hode has a takedown stuffed. Dittrich slips a straight right by Hode. Dittrich lands a nice hook to Hode's body. Hode takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dittrich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hode. Dittrich uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hode has time to react. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown by Hode or perhaps it was just good defense by Dittrich which made him look bad. Hode takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Hode takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hode throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hode uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dittrich.
Hode looks to land a right hand but Dittrich moved out of range. Hode throws a jab when Dittrich was well out of range. Dittrich moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hode closes the distance and clinches up with Dittrich, looking for a takedown. Hode pushes Dittrich against the ropes but Dittrich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hode pushing down on Dittrich's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hode is looking for a kimura. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hode tries for a takedown but Dittrich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jan Dittrich has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Scott Hode is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dittrich throws a combination. Hode tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
And that's the end of the fight! Jan Dittrich showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hode has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
