Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Primon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primon shoots for a takedown but Labosky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Labosky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Primon, pushing him back against the cage.
Labosky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Labosky breaks from the clinch.

Primon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Primon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Labosky smiles and moves away.
Primon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Labosky is fending him off so far but Primon persists. Nope, Labosky circles away and we're back to standing.
Jean Labosky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Primon.
Labosky lands a nice looking kick to the body. Primon takes a step back to recover.
Primon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Labosky manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Primon gets tackled into the cage by Labosky. Labosky maintains the clinch.

Labosky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Primon moves out of range of the body kick from Labosky.
That kick from Labosky tenderised Primon's leg. Primon is trying to keep his angry face on.

Primon drives through and clinches with Labosky against the cage.

Labosky manages to break the clinch.
Primon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Primon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Labosky as he jumps to the side.
Labosky seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Labosky throws a sloppy head kick and Primon moves out of range easily.
Labosky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Labosky lands a two punch combo.


It looks like Alexander Primon has been cut.
Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Primon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jean Labosky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Primon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Labosky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Labosky wants to break the clinch but can't.
Labosky is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Primon to keep the fight standing.
Primon avoiding damage as Labosky throws knees to the body.
Labosky tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Labosky breaks the clinch.
A punch combination from Labosky misses.
Primon moves out of range as Labosky throws a body kick.
Primon shoots in and drives through. Labosky sprawls well.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Labosky!

and Primon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Labosky manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Primon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Labosky tries to break free but Primon pushes him back against the cage.
Primon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Labosky.
Primon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Labosky walks away with a smile on his face. Primon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Primon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Labosky pinned against the cage. Labosky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Primon dives in and grabs Labosky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Labosky pushes down on Primon's head and hops out.
Primon throws a body shot but no joy.
Labosky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Primon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Primon clinches.

Labosky manages to break the clinch.
Labosky slips a jab and a cross from Primon.

Primon gets the takedown into side control.
Labosky is not content to let Primon control the position.
Primon tries to advance to mount but Labosky denies him.
Labosky is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Labosky tries to get to full guard but Primon has control of the leg.
Labosky is trying to stand up here but Primon is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Primon is defended easily by Labosky.
Primon shoots in looking for a takedown. Labosky tries to sprawl out of it but Primon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Labosky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Labosky misses with a wild body shot.
Labosky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Primon circles away quickly and effectively.
Jean Labosky is winning the standup battle so far.
Labosky tries to clinch but Primon is having none of it.
Primon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Labosky scores with a nice head shot.
Labosky is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Primon can do to turn this around?
Primon wants to clinch up but Labosky keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Primon shoots for a double leg takedown but Labosky sprawls well. He's pushed Primon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Labosky scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Primon jumps guard but Labosky stands there with Primon around his waist. Primon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Labosky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Primon throws out the jab.
Labosky throws a front kick that sends Primon stumbling back into the cage.
Primon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Labosky circles away.
Labosky tries to counter by clinching up but Primon breaks away and moves out of range.
Primon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Labosky's waist but Labosky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Primon off to one side.
Primon is breathing heavily.
Primon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Labosky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Labosky cracks the inside of Primon's front leg.

Labosky scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


That has opened up Alexander Primon's cut even more.
Labosky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Labosky stuffs the takedown attempt from Primon. Primon gets slowly back to his feet.
Primon fails with a takedown attempt.

Labosky closes the distance and clinches.

Labosky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Labosky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Primon. That did some damage!
Labosky delivers a nice body kick.
Labosky dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Labosky stuns Primon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Labosky is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Labosky closes the distance and pushes Primon back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Labosky lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Primon backs up against the cage.
Primon shoots in but Labosky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Primon dodges the punch combination from Labosky.
Labosky stalks Primon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Primon's face. Primon staggers backwards, shaken.
Primon takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Labosky lands a big head kick that sends Primon tumbling to the mat! Labosky takes a step backwards and waves Primon back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Primon is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Labosky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Primon.
Primon is still on wobbly legs! Can Labosky finish him?
Labosky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Primon. That did some damage!
Primon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Primon backs away from a small jab... but Labosky lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Primon crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Labosky with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Jean Labosky!
