The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Svensson.
Evans tries a head kick but it misses.
Svensson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Svensson throws a sloppy head kick and Evans moves out of range easily.
Evans tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Svensson lands a high kick to the side of Evans's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Svensson dives into guard, looking to finish.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
