Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikael Bornovich! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darshan takes the fight into the clinch. Darshan pressing his opponent against the cage. Darshan is pushing Bornovich up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Darshan pulls guard successfully.
Darshan manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Darshan moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darshan pulls guard. Darshan wants to stand and escape but Bornovich is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bornovich wants to pass the guard but Darshan is keeping the position. Darshan wants to stand but Bornovich is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darshan keeping moving, preventing Bornovich from controlling successfully. Darshan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Darshan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bornovich trying to control the position from guard on top but Darshan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bornovich tries to free his leg and advance position but Darshan is retaining full guard. Bornovich is still trying to improve position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Darshan looking to score a takedown here. Bornovich is defending well but Darshan drives through and ends up in Bornovich's guard. Darshan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bornovich on the ground. Darshan gets to his feet - Bornovich follows without any prompting. A jab-cross combination lands for Darshan and sends Bornovich crashing to the mat! Darshan follows him down to the mat - Bornovich regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Mikael Bornovich has been cut. Bornovich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bornovich looks winded! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Darshan in particular looking to stall. Darshan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Bornovich is trying to get back to full guard. Darshan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bornovich wants to control but Darshan passes into side.
Bornovich is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Darshan off and has taken his back! Darshan is trying to get back to his feet but Bornovich has full control of the position and if anything, Darshan has just worked his way into a worse spot. Well, with Bornovich on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Darshan is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Darshan takes the fight into the clinch. Darshan gets control of Bornovich's arms and successfully pulls guard. Darshan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Darshan is looking to stand up but Bornovich isn't so interested in that idea. Darshan keeping moving, preventing Bornovich from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Darshan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darshan is looking to stand up but Bornovich isn't so interested in that idea. Bornovich with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bornovich trying to control but Darshan is working from the bottom. Darshan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Darshan tries to get out of the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Darshan clinches up with Bornovich and pushes him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Darshan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bornovich looking to slow down the pace here. Darshan pulls Bornovich into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bornovich wants to control from the top but Darshan keeps moving. Darshan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Darshan wants to stand but Bornovich is controlling the position. Rishi Darshan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Darshan keeping moving, preventing Bornovich from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Darshan as Bornovich shoots in. Bornovich is breathing heavily. Darshan throws a nice looking combination but Bornovich bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bornovich has his takedown stuffed and Darshan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Darshan is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bornovich is looking to improve his position.
Darshan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bornovich can do to turn this around?

Darshan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bornovich is on top in guard.

He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rishi Darshan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Darshan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Rishi Darshan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Darshan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
