12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ingvar Ingesson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steamboat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ingesson is fending him off so far but Steamboat persists. Nope, Ingesson circles away and we're back to standing. Steamboat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ingesson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steamboat. Steamboat is looking to score with low kicks. Steamboat falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ingesson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've been hearing reports that Steamboat has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ricky Steamboat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steamboat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ingesson. Steamboat with a lazy takedown attempt and Steamboat takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ingesson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. No luck for Steamboat with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Steamboat. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ingesson lands a jab to the head.

Steamboat tries for a takedown but Ingesson circles away easily and Ingesson counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ingvar Ingesson! Ingvar Ingesson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sin City Allstars logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. The defeated Ricky Steamboat had this to say: 'Good win to for my opponent will be back'.
