The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown has closed the distance and engaged Theodore in a clinch.
Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Theodore tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brown defends well and Theodore ends up having to push Brown into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
