Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stasius Venom (ranked 581 p4p, 85 weight class) and Jack Patton (ranked 593 p4p, 88 weight class). Venom's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, For Heavy Metal we will die!. Patton has chosen Barasuara - Api dan Lentera as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack Patton!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Venom takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Patton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Patton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Venom thows a left - swing and a miss!
Patton looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
A jab from Venom misses.
Patton cracks Venom with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Patton throws a leg kick that misses.
Venom keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Venom has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Patton.
Patton moves away from the strike by Venom.
Venom throws a body kick that misses
and Patton counters with a big head kick but Venom shrugs it off.
Venom lands with a nice body punch.
Patton gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Venom counters with an outside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Venom lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Patton avoids the body shot from Venom.
Venom's corner calls for a 1-2. Venom obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Venom ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
As Patton looks to move away, Venom throws a big counter combo but Patton just gets out of the way.

Patton has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Venom.
Patton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Patton throws a body punch but Venom moves out of range.
Patton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Venom darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Venom definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Patton throws a looping overhand right but Venom ducks down to avoid it.

Venom throws a counter high kick but Patton was just alert enough to avoid it.
Venom lands with a hook. Patton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Patton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Venom misses with a looping left.
Patton moves forwards but Venom connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Patton missing with a left hand there. Venom was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Patton misses with a hook.
Venom fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Patton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Venom counters with a nice low kick that buckles Patton's knee momentarily.
Venom looks to throw the jab but Patton is out of range.

Venom keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Patton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Venom throws a looping overhand right but Patton ducks down to avoid it.
Patton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Venom connects with a single shot there.

Patton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Venom moves away.
Venom lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Patton can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Venom and Patton drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Venom.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stasius Venom!
After the fight, Stasius Venom was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
