Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Berger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Silat Indo! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Indo gets a double leg takedown into Berger's guard. Indo throws a big elbow that misses. Berger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Indo throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Indo stands and steps away. Berger gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Berger moves into the clinch successfully.
Indo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Berger clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Indo is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Indo punches the canvas rather than the man. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Indo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Berger defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Indo controls the action.

Berger looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Berger covering up well under a series of strikes from Indo. Indo controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Indo looking to break Berger's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Berger remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Indo will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Indo working for a choke but Berger is defending well. Indo really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Berger. Berger trying to control the hands but Indo breaks the grip.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Indo missing with strikes from the back. Indo is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silat Indo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Indo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Berger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Berger not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Berger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Indo's guard.
Indo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Berger defends well. Indo pulls Berger in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berger gets to his feet - Indo follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Indo darts in and clinches Berger up against the cage. Berger is looking to control Indo's arms but Indo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Berger has his back to the cage. Indo lands a takedown into guard.
Indo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Indo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Berger is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Indo wants to control from the top but Berger keeps moving. Berger looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Indo throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Indo closes the distance and clinches.

Indo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Berger's guard. Berger seems keen to control Indo's posture. Berger is working an open guard so Indo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Indo pushes Berger up against the cage in a clinch. Indo pulls Berger into guard.

Indo is trying to control Berger's posture but Berger avoids it. Berger decides to take the fight back to the feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Indo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Indo lands in his opponent's guard. Indo is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Indo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silat Indo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Indo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Indo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Berger has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Berger! Berger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Indo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Berger has managed to get both his arms back between Indo's legs - danger averted. Silat Indo has got the better of the ground game so far. Berger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Silat Indo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Indo throws a sloppy head kick and Berger moves out of range easily. Joseph Berger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Indo has managed to clinch.
Indo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Berger wanted to stand there but Indo had control of the position. Indo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Indo has Berger pulled in close to control his posture. Indo looking to control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Indo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Berger manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Berger is trying to control the position but Indo postures up. Indo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Berger wants to sweep but no luck. Berger is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Indo pushes down on Berger's leg and manages to get into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Indo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Berger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Indo.
And that's the end of the fight! Silat Indo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Indo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
