Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Imani Anderson (ranked 6106 p4p, 270 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 7765 p4p, 311 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Number 1. Ross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Imani Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Imani Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rick Ross! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Anderson. Anderson misses with a wild combination.
Ross throws out a leg kick but Anderson moves out of range and Ross only half commits. Ross instigates a clinch. Ross blocks a body shot from Anderson. Anderson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anderson misses with a hook. Ross ducked under it nicely. Ross takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. Ross moves into range and clinches up with Anderson. Ross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anderson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Anderson leaves Ross with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ross takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ross tries to clinch up. Anderson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ross is trying to stand.
Ross wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ross looking for submissions off his back. Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Ross defends the submission attempt. Ross looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ross is not content to let Anderson control the position. Ross wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Anderson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ross looking for subs from the bottom but Anderson mounts him! Ross looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross tries to buck Anderson off but he can't manage it. Anderson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ross tries to improve his position but Anderson has taken his back! Anderson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ross tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Anderson pushes Ross away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
