Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucky Luke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, El Torito!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torito feints and as Luke raises his hands in defense, Torito changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luke has his foot on Torito's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Torito works his way back into a safe position though.
Torito postures up and lands a big shot to Luke's brow.
Torito makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Luke wants to sweep here but Torito controlling him for the moment.

Torito seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Luke can't keep his opponent in guard - Torito advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Torito is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luke has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Torito is working away from the top position though.

Torito has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Luke is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Torito scores with a couple of nice shots.

Luke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Torito passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Luke!

Torito lands a big shot there that rocks Luke but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Luke is bucking up trying to escape but Torito cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Torito fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Luke is rocked!

Oh Luke is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Luke takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Torito's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
