Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Crew (ranked 4253 p4p, 428 weight class) and Juanon Brephgrad (ranked 4028 p4p, 407 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terry Crew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juanon Brephgrad! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crew misses with a takedown attempt - Brephgrad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brephgrad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Crew has been working on his balance at 3Band MMA ($800/week), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Brephgrad. Brephgrad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crew, pushing him back against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Brephgrad.
Brephgrad fails to pull guard.
Brephgrad jumps guard but Crew turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Crew jumps guard.
Crew looking for a sweep. Not yet Crew, not yet. Crew lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Crew looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crew's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brephgrad is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Crew controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Crew won't allow Brephgrad to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crew postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brephgrad is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Crew, into his guard.
Crew escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brephgrad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crew is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brephgrad got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crew has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brephgrad has managed to get both his arms back between Crew's legs - danger averted. Brephgrad preventing the sweep. Crew manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brephgrad manages to get himself to full guard.
Crew pushes down on Brephgrad's leg and manages to get into half guard. Crew is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brephgrad doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Crew. Brephgrad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crew wants to take a breather but Brephgrad is having none of it. Crew is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Crew wants to pass the guard but Brephgrad is keeping the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Crew is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Brephgrad keeping full guard, as Crew tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brephgrad working a defensive guard here.
Crew wants to pass the guard but Brephgrad is keeping the position. Crew advances position into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crew thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Crew is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brephgrad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terry Crew dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brephgrad misses with a low kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Brephgrad.
Brephgrad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crew is out of range and Brephgrad settles back down. Crew changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Brephgrad slaps away a takedown attempt from Crew, before circling back to the center of the mat. Some bone on bone action there as Crew checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Brephgrad misses with a leg kick. Crew shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brephgrad's guard. Crew trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Brephgrad manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Brephgrad won't allow Crew to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brephgrad looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Crew is adopting a defensive guard. Brephgrad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brephgrad works his way back into a safe position though. Crew escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brephgrad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Crew controlling the position. Crew is looking for a triangle but Brephgrad pushes his legs off easily.
Crew manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brephgrad manages to get himself to full guard.
Brephgrad wants to get back to his feet but Crew is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brephgrad has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Crew has passed into side control.

No, Brephgrad has escaped the position, nice work there. Crew is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brephgrad can do to turn this around? That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Brephgrad tries to get back to half guard but can't. Crew thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Terry Crew dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Crew is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Crew hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Terry Crew! An out of breath Terry Crew thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Juanon Brephgrad was interviewed post fight and said 'That punk got luckY!'.
