Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Crew (ranked 4253 p4p, 428 weight class) and Juanon Brephgrad (ranked 4028 p4p, 407 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crew misses with a takedown attempt - Brephgrad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Brephgrad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Crew has been working on his balance at 3Band MMA ($800/week), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Brephgrad.
Brephgrad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crew, pushing him back against the cage.

Crew postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brephgrad is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Crew, into his guard.
Crew escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brephgrad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crew is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brephgrad got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crew has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brephgrad has managed to get both his arms back between Crew's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A slapping leg kick lands for Brephgrad.
Brephgrad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Crew is out of range and Brephgrad settles back down.
Crew changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Some bone on bone action there as Crew checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Crew shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brephgrad's guard.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Crew hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

An out of breath Terry Crew thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Juanon Brephgrad was interviewed post fight and said 'That punk got luckY!'.
