The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambrose tries to clinch up.
Ambrose shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ngannou counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ambrose thinking.
Ambrose throws a body kick that misses.
Ngannou lands a nice hook to Ambrose 's body. Ambrose takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ambrose fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ngannou lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ambrose up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Ngannou from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ambrose 's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
