Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tzwrtzos Peidis (ranked 2778 p4p, 292 weight class) and Wolfgang Lee Roth (ranked 2186 p4p, 232 weight class). Peidis's entrance music is ΑΥΤΟ ΤΟ ΤΡΑΓΟΥ&. A fine choice. Tzwrtzos Peidis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tzwrtzos Peidis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wolfgang Lee Roth! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee Roth drops his hands momentarily and Peidis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Lee Roth lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Peidis at a distance.
Peidis staying out of range there. Peidis scores with a kick to the body.
Lee Roth fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Peidis jabs Lee Roth to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lee Roth throws a looping overhand right but Peidis ducks down to avoid it. Both fighters circling a little - Peidis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Lee Roth looks to land a right hand but Peidis moved out of range. Peidis fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lee Roth just manages to avoid it. Lee Roth takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lee Roth will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lee Roth misses with a takedown attempt enabling Peidis to counter with a crisp jab. Tzwrtzos Peidis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wolfgang Lee Roth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peidis looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lee Roth shoots in for a takedown but Peidis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lee Roth crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Peidis - the referee stops the clock and Lee Roth gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Peidis. Lee Roth manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Lee Roth looks winded! Peidis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lee Roth takes a swing at Peidis's ribcage but misses. Lee Roth sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Lee Roth shoots for a double leg takedown but Peidis sprawls well. He's pushed Lee Roth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Peidis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A nice leg kick lands there from Peidis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peidis throws an overhand right that drops Lee Roth like a sack of potatoes! Peidis dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tzwrtzos Peidis! During a confident post fight interview, Tzwrtzos Peidis thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
