Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Rojas (ranked 8502 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo San Sebastian (ranked 6046 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo San Sebastian! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! San Sebastian fails to land the takedown. San Sebastian tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rojas defends well and San Sebastian ends up having to push Rojas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nice jab there from San Sebastian.
It looks like Jacob Rojas has been cut. Rojas throws a lazy right hand but San Sebastian sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rojas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with San Sebastian but San Sebastian pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rojas throws a sloppy head kick and San Sebastian moves out of range easily. Rojas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rojas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rojas looks to land a combination but San Sebastian avoids it well. San Sebastian drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rojas defends it well. Rojas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because San Sebastian is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. San Sebastian showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rojas trying to keep a closed guard but San Sebastian is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. San Sebastian lands a couple of decent looking shots. San Sebastian is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. San Sebastian with a flurry of punches that miss. Rojas looking for submissions from the bottom but instead San Sebastian passes into side control.

San Sebastian works to advance to full mount. Rojas defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. San Sebastian controlling the position easily from mount.

Rojas tries to improve his position but instead San Sebastian has taken his back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! I would not like to be Rojas right now.

Rojas tries to keep at a distance but San Sebastian has taken the fight into the clinch. San Sebastian jumps guard but Rojas stands there with San Sebastian around his waist. San Sebastian gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rojas pushes San Sebastian against the cage but San Sebastian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. San Sebastian is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Rojas shoots in for a takedown but San Sebastian shows good takedown defense. Horrible takedown attempt by Rojas or perhaps it was just good defense by San Sebastian, which made it look bad. Nope, Rojas circles away and we're back to standing. San Sebastian shoots in and drives through. Rojas sprawls well. A good leg kick by Rojas. San Sebastian tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rojas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rojas seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Rojas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has San Sebastian pinned against the cage. San Sebastian gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. San Sebastian is looking to clinch but Rojas is avoiding it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. San Sebastian tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Rojas counter with a right hand. Rojas leaves San Sebastian with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rojas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rojas changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nice sprawl there from Rojas as San Sebastian shoots in. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rojas throws a leg kick which misses San Sebastian's front leg but catches the back leg as San Sebastian tries to avoid it. Jacob Rojas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leo San Sebastian is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. San Sebastian shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
