Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nebojša Brynjar (ranked 2889 p4p, 263 weight class) and Dominick Bruise (ranked 21501 p4p, 517 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nebojša Brynjar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dominick Bruise! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brynjar lands a nice hook to Bruise's body. Bruise takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Brynjar throws a quick inside leg kick. Brynjar scores with a head kick. Bruise tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Dominick Bruise has been cut. Brynjar staying out of range there. A shot to the body from Bruise misses and Brynjar counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bruise throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brynjar blocks it with crossed arms. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Brynjar as Bruise tries to tie him up. Brynjar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bruise misses with a looping right. Brynjar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brynjar seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Bruise throws a hook but Brynjar blocks it. Bruise misses with a body punch
and Brynjar counters with a left to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brynjar blocks a jab. Brynjar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bruise fails in his attempt to clinch. A counter left hand to the body from Brynjar misses its target. Brynjar thows a leg kick but Bruise checks it and Bruise counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bruise lands a lovely overhand right. Bruise slips under a jab from Brynjar. Brynjar tries to clinch but Bruise moves out of range. Bruise swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bruise wants to clinch but Brynjar slips to the side enabling Brynjar to counter with a crisp jab. Bruise takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bruise jabs Brynjar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bruise lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brynjar throws a solid leg kick but Bruise takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Brynjar. Bruise throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brynjar tries to counter by clinching up but Bruise breaks away and moves out of range. Brynjar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bruise lands with a straight right. Brynjar didn't see that one coming. Bruise misses with a hook. Bruise misses with an uppercut
and Bruise takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bruise swings widly with a right hand
and Brynjar counters with a straight punch to the midsection. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bruise. Brynjar misses with a lunging right hand
and Bruise counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brynjar clinches up with Bruise and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruise misses with a knee to the head. Bruise tries to land a knee to the head but Brynjar blocks with his arms.

Brynjar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brynjar leaves Bruise with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bruise swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Brynjar is looking to wear down Bruise with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bruise cracks Brynjar with a right hand to the side of the head. Brynjar throws a series of punches but Bruise avoids them all with ease. Bruise looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bruise tries to clinch but Brynjar is having none of it. Brynjar seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Brynjar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bruise's sensitive parts. Bruise misses with a body shot.
Brynjar tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bruise manages to circle out of the way.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Bruise. It looked like Brynjar was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Brynjar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Brynjar misses with a straight right. Bruise tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bruise throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brynjar on the side of the head. Bruise throws a combination that misses and Brynjar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bruise is rocked! Bruise might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. This has been an exciting period of action! Brynjar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bruise. Bruise is still on wobbly legs! Can Brynjar finish him? Brynjar shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Bruise takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Brynjar sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Bruise bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nebojša Brynjar! Nebojša Brynjar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
