And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunter Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jedrzejczyk digs a good body shot into Schultz's ribs.
Jedrzejczyk throws a hook but Schultz avoids it easily.
Schultz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jedrzejczyk counters with a left to the body.
Schultz misses the shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Schultz.
Schultz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jedrzejczyk defends well and Schultz ends up having to push Jedrzejczyk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Schultz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Schultz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jedrzejczyk gets caught napping as Schultz dives in and scores a takedown. Jedrzejczyk manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Schultz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jedrzejczyk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Schultz, into his guard.


Schultz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jedrzejczyk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jedrzejczyk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schultz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jedrzejczyk has managed to get both his arms back between Schultz's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jedrzejczyk wants to control from the top but Schultz keeps moving.

Gunter Schultz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
