Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alastair Dunn (ranked 1398 p4p, 189 weight class) and Roy Finnegan (ranked 1655 p4p, 213 weight class). Finnegan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Rogues - Gravel Walk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alastair Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Finnegan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnegan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dunn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dunn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Decent striking displayed by Dunn there.
Finnegan scores with a punch to the head.
Dunn lands a jab.
Finnegan's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Finnegan duly obliges.
Finnegan looks to score with a jab to the body but Dunn is just out of range.
Finnegan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dunn.
Dunn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Finnegan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dunn misses the jab.
Dunn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Finnegan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dunn moves out of range as Finnegan strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunn fails with the takedown
and Finnegan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Finnegan lands a left and a right that send Dunn crashing to the mat, dazed. Finnegan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dunn is rocked!
Dunn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Dunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dunn looks up at the clock. Bad move! Finnegan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dunn. Finnegan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Finnegan!
Our winner, Roy Finnegan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
