2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock throws a hook but Brandau blocks it. Brandau is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shamrock. Shamrock connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Brandau doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shamrock counters with a nice uppercut. Shamrock waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brandau. Shamrock connects with a single shot there. Shamrock lands an overhand right. Shamrock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Shamrock moves away from the strike by Brandau.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandau throws a series of punches but Shamrock moves out of range. Brandau gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Shamrock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Brandau is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Shamrock engages and cracks Brandau with a massive lead left hook - Brandau tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Shamrock is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
