Shamrock throws a hook but Brandau blocks it.
Brandau is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shamrock.
Shamrock connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Brandau doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shamrock counters with a nice uppercut.
Shamrock throws the left hand but Brandau avoids the punch easily.
Shamrock cracks a nice hook into Brandau's ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brandau tries to clinch there but Shamrock circles away.

Shamrock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Brandau gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Shamrock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Shamrock engages and cracks Brandau with a massive lead left hook - Brandau tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Shamrock is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
