Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kai Star! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Miki Petersen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petersen fails to land the takedown. Star forces Petersen back against the cage and clinches. Petersen landing knees to the head.
Star lands an elbow inside that Petersen shrugs off. Star manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Petersen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Star is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Star avoids a wild elbow strike from Petersen. Petersen can't break the clinch.

Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petersen uses from the top position. Star wriggles free and stands up. Star drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Star stands and steps away. Petersen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Star will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
