Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Chavez (ranked 5989 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthijs Van Dreemir (ranked 5125 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Dreemir has chosen Up and Up as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Miguel Chavez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Miguel Chavez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dreemir is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chavez's half guard.
Chavez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Van Dreemir is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chavez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Chavez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Van Dreemir sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Chavez wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Van Dreemir's closed guard. He's half up but Van Dreemir has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Van Dreemir pivots and extends the arm, Chavez falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Van Dreemir! Well done that man!

Matthijs Van Dreemir tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
