Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mckinley Osborn (ranked 9015 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Stevenson (ranked 25193 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Stevenson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mckinley Osborn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson lands an overhand right. Stevenson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Osborn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Stevenson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Osborn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Osborn controlling from the top position. Osborn drops back looking for a leg! Stevenson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stevenson manages to kick Osborn off! Osborn jumps back into Stevenson's guard. Osborn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Osborn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Osborn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Osborn lands a couple of elbows. Osborn stands up over Stevenson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Osborn controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osborn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stevenson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Osborn controls the pace. Osborn landing some decent shots from guard. Osborn cracks Stevenson with a solid left hand. Osborn sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osborn postures up and lands a big shot to Stevenson's brow. Osborn is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Osborn is working Stevenson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Osborn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Stevenson has momentary wrist control but Osborn slips an elbow through the middle. Osborn scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osborn forces his way into half guard. Stevenson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Osborn perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ground and pound from Osborn. Stevenson is in trouble now - Osborn has advanced to mount! Osborn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stevenson's face.

Osborn rushes Stevenson and presses him up against the cage. Osborn is trying to pull guard but Stevenson has him pressed against the cage. Stevenson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Osborn has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stevenson after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mckinley Osborn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Osborn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stevenson prevents it.

Osborn has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevenson gets underhooks to prevent Osborn's takedown attempt.
Osborn wants to take the fight to the mat but Stevenson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Stevenson swings wildly with an uppercut but Osborn uses good head movement to avoid it. Osborn breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Osborn circles away from the clinch attempt and Osborn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Osborn. Osborn chips away with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Osborn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Osborn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Osborn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Osborn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stevenson's head. Osborn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osborn with a nice head shot there. Osborn passes Stevenson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Osborn performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Osborn continues to stall. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mckinley Osborn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fight moves into the clinch position. Osborn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Osborn is working for takedown but Stevenson is calmly controlling the position for now. Osborn pulls Stevenson into guard.
Osborn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Osborn uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Osborn clinches. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Osborn wants a takedown.
Osborn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stevenson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Osborn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mckinley Osborn dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Osborn takes a little break here. Stevenson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Stevenson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stevenson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Osborn is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Osborn hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
