Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Bulletzowich (ranked 707 p4p, 96 weight class) and Shane MacGowan (ranked 808 p4p, 110 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying MacGowan's choice of entrance music: The Pogues - Streams of Whiskey. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boris Bulletzowich! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane MacGowan! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bulletzowich manages to get an easy takedown there - catching MacGowan on his heels. He'll look to pass MacGowan's guard now, I'm sure. Bulletzowich wants to pass the guard but MacGowan is keeping the position. Bulletzowich postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. MacGowan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bulletzowich. Bulletzowich trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulletzowich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bulletzowich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. MacGowan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bulletzowich with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bulletzowich working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bulletzowich wants to pass the guard but MacGowan is keeping the position. Bulletzowich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. MacGowan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bulletzowich.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bulletzowich trying to control the position from guard on top but MacGowan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Bulletzowich throws a strike but MacGowan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. MacGowan preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulletzowich wants to hit a switch here but MacGowan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bulletzowich there! MacGowan prevents Bulletzowich from getting the reversal. Bulletzowich sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Bulletzowich slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bulletzowich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. MacGowan wants to get up but he can't break Bulletzowich's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bulletzowich manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MacGowan manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulletzowich is looking to advance position but MacGowan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Bulletzowich wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Bulletzowich is really stuck here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. MacGowan is trying to stick to Bulletzowich's back but Bulletzowich is turning into MacGowan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in MacGowan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bulletzowich. MacGowan keeping full guard, as Bulletzowich tries to pass. Bulletzowich looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Bulletzowich throws a big right hand that misses. Bulletzowich lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. MacGowan is trying to get back to half guard. MacGowan is rocked! Bulletzowich landing strikes, looking to finish! MacGowan is still in real trouble! Can Bulletzowich finish him? Bulletzowich loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have MacGowan scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bulletzowich land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bulletzowich stands and salutes the crowd.

A less than humble Boris Bulletzowich misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
