Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Wheeler (ranked 25032 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristaps Porzingis (ranked 5838 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rob Wheeler has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rob Wheeler seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Wheeler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kristaps Porzingis! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porzingis thuds his shin into the meat of Wheeler's side. Porzingis tries a low kick but Wheeler avoids it. Wheeler seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Wheeler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Porzingis throws out the jab. Porzingis throws an overhand right that lands on Wheeler's shoulder, as Wheeler tries to avoid the shot. Porzingis throws a leg kick and Wheeler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wheeler is trying to push Porzingis away but Porzingis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Porzingis gets underhooks to prevent Wheeler's takedown attempt.
Porzingis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Porzingis lands a jab to the nose.

Porzingis wants to control but Wheeler is having none of it. Wheeler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Porzingis tries to hold on but Wheeler pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wheeler is landing with some decent strikes but Porzingis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Wheeler is really dominating this fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Porzingis tries to hold on but Wheeler pushes him away. Wheeler looking to control and managing it successfully.
