Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between No Joy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Kriger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, No Joy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Kriger! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joy misses with a series of wild punches.
Joy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kriger has a takedown stuffed. Joy knocks Kriger to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Kriger is rocked!
It looks like Bruno Kriger has been cut. Kriger tries to bench press Joy off him but Joy keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kriger manages to work his way to half guard, despite Joy's best efforts. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Joy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kriger knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Joy controlling the action here. Joy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kriger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kriger wants to control but Joy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kriger punching from the bottom.

Kriger is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Joy pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kriger looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kriger looks gassed!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Joy closes the distance and clinches up with Kriger, looking for a takedown. Joy pushes Kriger against the cage but Kriger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joy tries to keep at a distance but Kriger has taken the fight into the clinch. Joy is trying to break free. Joy breaks the clinch.
Joy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kriger tries to avoid it but Joy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kriger to the ground. Kriger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice body kick from Joy. Joy moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Joy drops Kriger with a nice combination! Joy dives into Kriger's guard, looking to finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Joy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kriger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Joy controls the pace. Kriger has a closed guard, preventing Joy from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joy tries to free his leg and advance position but Kriger is retaining full guard. Kriger has his feet on Joy's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Joy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kriger swats him away and circles back towards the center. Joy moves in looking to clinch but Kriger pushes him off. Joy connects with a high kick. Kriger keeps the fight on the outside. Nice straight punches there by Joy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joy. Joy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kriger's waist but Kriger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joy off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Joy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Joy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kriger moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Joy looks to land a combination but Kriger avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kriger walks into a stiff left hand from Joy. Kriger closes the distance and clinches up with Joy, looking for a takedown. Kriger pushes Joy against the cage but Joy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joy throws a head kick that Kriger semi-blocks.
Joy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kriger's calf. Danga de danga de dang - Joy scores with a four punch combination! Joy shoots for a double leg takedown but Kriger sprawls well. He's pushed Joy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kriger is trying desperately to land a takedown but Joy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kriger. Joy lands a high kick!
Kriger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joy but Joy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kriger fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kriger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kriger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kriger showed some decent athleticism there. Joy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joy is trying to stand.
Kriger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kriger. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joy is staying active underneath Kriger, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
No Joy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bruno Kriger's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Joy throws a head kick that Kriger semi-blocks.
Joy stuffs the takedown. Kriger tries to clinch up. Kriger takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kriger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joy but Joy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Joy lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kriger takes a step back to recover. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Joy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kriger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Joy won't be happy with that. Joy is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kriger trying to control the action but Joy is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Joy is looking to regain half guard here but Kriger keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kriger is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Joy has escaped the position, nice work there. Sloppy strikes there by Kriger. Kriger working away. Joy throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Joy regains half guard. Kriger is looking for a kimura but Joy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kriger to get the leverage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Joy tries for a takedown but Kriger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kriger shoots in and drives through. Joy sprawls well. No Joy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Kriger. Joy thuds a left hand into Kriger's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Joy tries to clinch but Kriger moves out of range. Kriger takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
No Joy is winning the standup battle so far. Kriger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A nice combination there by Joy.
Bruno Kriger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kriger. That did some damage! A chopping leg kick lands by Joy. Joy throws a combination. Kriger tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kriger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kriger is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Joy sees it coming and defends easily. Joy keeping control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kriger trying to control the action but Joy is working from the bottom. Kriger seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Joy shoots for a double leg takedown but Kriger sprawls well. He's pushed Joy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kriger fails with the takedown. Kriger connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Joy momentarily.
Joy lands with a nice combination. Kriger backs away looking to recover. Kriger tries to clinch there but Joy circles away.

Joy throws a series of punches but Kriger avoids them all with ease. Kriger looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kriger is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Joy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kriger. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Joy is not content to let Kriger control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
No Joy dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bruno Kriger's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Joy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kriger shoots in for a takedown but Joy shows good takedown defense. No Joy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Kriger. Joy works Kriger's body with a nice hook. Kriger closes the distance and clinches up with Joy, looking for a takedown. Kriger pushes Joy against the cage but Joy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joy shoots in but Kriger avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kriger shoots for a double leg takedown but Joy sprawls well. He's pushed Kriger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joy goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kriger takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kriger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Joy paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kriger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Joy counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kriger is trying to keep Joy in close.
Kriger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Joy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kriger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Joy's back instead. Kriger is trying to control but Joy is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Kriger is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Joy is surviving well by controlling Kriger's body position as best he can. Joy trying desperately to get to his feet.
Kriger lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Joy hang on? Joy is working to get back to half guard.
Joy wants to hold on but Kriger pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kriger landing strikes, looking to finish! Kriger tries to control but Joy wriggling away. Kriger working for a submission but Joy is keeping him at bay. Kriger won't let Joy get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Bruno Kriger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kriger jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Joy manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kriger tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kriger wants to control but Joy is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Joy tries to buck Kriger off but Kriger is having none of it. Kriger working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kriger working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Joy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. No Joy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Joy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kriger on the ground. Kriger throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! No Joy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Joy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
