And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rhasaan Orange!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliavo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Oliavo cracks a nice hook into Orange's ribs.
Orange defending well as Oliavo loads up on a big left hand.

Oliavo gets caught flat footed, as Orange shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Orange prevents Oliavo from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Orange trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliavo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Oliavo can't keep his opponent in guard - Orange advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Oliavo is trying to control but can't.

Orange looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Orange stops Oliavo from getting back to his feet.
Oliavo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Orange seems to be working for a kimura but Oliavo defends the submission attempt.

Orange is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oliavo is trying to stand up here but Orange is controlling him well.

Orange seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Oliavo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Rhasaan Orange was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
