Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Run Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Chang! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chang slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Man tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Man darts in looking for a takedown but Chang gets double underhooks and turns Man into the cage. Chang feints a counter leg kick. Man fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Man checks the leg kick nicely there.
Man attempts a counter takedown but Chang avoids it well and moves away. Mike Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chang wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Run Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Man misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Man avoids a kick to the body.
Crunch! Chang slams his shin into Man's torso. Chang misses with a wild body shot. Chang lands with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Chang, which made it look bad. Chang unleashes a big counter combination but Man bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Chang. Man darts in looking for a takedown but Chang gets double underhooks and turns Man into the cage.

Chang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Man looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Man gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Chang counters with a left to the body. Man is breathing heavily. Chang drives through and clinches with Man against the cage.
Nice elbow from Chang. Chang leaning his opponent against the cage. Chang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Chang lands a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chang will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Man up against the cage. Chang lands an elbow inside. A knee to the head by Chang.
Chang lands a damaging elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chang throws a knee to the head but misses.
Chang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chang takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses. Man half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Man has a takedown stuffed. Chang looks like he wants to counter punch here. Man tries to clinch there but Chang circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Man closes the distance and clinches up with Chang, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Chang against the cage but Chang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chang throws a body kick that misses. Man half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Mike Chang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Man takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chang throws a leg kick which misses Man's front leg but catches the back leg as Man tries to avoid it. Chang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Chang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Man tries to clinch up but Chang circles away and keeps his distance. Man swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Man tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chang is able to avoid easily. Man stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chang. Chang throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Man. Man misses the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chang lands with a nice body kick. Chang moves into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chang breaks from the clinch.
Man takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chang looks to land a body kick but Man moved away. Man is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chang. Man fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Chang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Man's calf. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chang, right into the meat.
Man shoots in but no luck this time. Chang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Chang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chang pinned against the cage. Chang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chang avoids it really well and circles away. Run Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chang scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Man is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Man takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Chang. Chang lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Man or not. Chang using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Man has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Mike Chang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Chang has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chang takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Man fails to land the takedown. Man tries to clinch and Chang counters with a thumping low kick. Chang looks to land a body kick but Man moved away. Man is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Chang. Man shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chang defends it nicely. Man avoids the head kick by Chang.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Man on the side of the head. Mike Chang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Man wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Chang moves out of range as Man strikes. Chang follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Chang throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Man's head. Man walks into a left hand. Chang tries to clinch but Man moves out of range. As Chang tries to get set, Man tries to push him back and clinch up but Chang manages to avoid the attempt. Chang throws a body punch but Man moves out of range. Mike Chang seems to be getting the better of the standup. Man avoids the body shot from Chang.
Chang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it. Man avoids a kick to the body.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Chang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chang throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Chang displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Man throws out the jab.

Man tries to clinch up. A combination from Chang does no damage. Man takes the fight into the clinch. Man jumps guard and drags Chang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Man has his foot on Chang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chang works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chang trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard. Man is trying to control the position but Chang postures up. Run Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chang stands up and waves to Man to follow him.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Chang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Chang winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
