Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riza Rakija (ranked 951 p4p, 113 weight class) and Ely Scrubs (ranked 1386 p4p, 163 weight class). Rakija comes to the cage accompanied by Rakija. Ely Scrubs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakija turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rakija throws a body punch but Scrubs moves out of range.
Scrubs doesn't manage to clinch there - Rakija circles away.
Rakija goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Ely Scrubs has been cut.
Rakija swings wildly with an uppercut but Scrubs uses good head movement to avoid it.
Scrubs is still on wobbly legs! Can Rakija finish him?
Rakija misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rakija lands a hook that snaps the head of Scrubs backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scrubs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ely Scrubs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clinched against the cage, Rakija lands a big elbow that drops Scrubs! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Scrubs is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
