Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herbal The Leaf (ranked 6825 p4p, 685 weight class) and Ricky Bobby (ranked 8305 p4p, 733 weight class). Ricky Bobby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Leaf shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bobby is trying to defend but The Leaf finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The Leaf seems to be working for a kimura but Bobby defends the submission attempt.

The Leaf pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The Leaf jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bobby manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The Leaf looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bobby creates some space and throws a big elbow, but The Leaf sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The Leaf is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
