EFA 20 Bates vs Octavian PBP Commentary |
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bates moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bates lands a jab to the head.
Octavian lands with a nice combination. Bates backs away looking to recover.
Bates just misses with a punch to the body.

Bates lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Octavian lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bates's sensitive parts.
Octavian thuds his shin into the meat of Bates's side.
Octavian looks to land a combination but Bates avoids it well.

Let's hope that Octavian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Octavian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Octavian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bates on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bates tries to get out of the position.

Quintus Octavian comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Octavian has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
