Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Man Schultz (ranked 23858 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eobard Vikkus (ranked 5996 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Man Schultz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eobard Vikkus! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vikkus moves into the clinch. Vikkus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Schultz shoots in for a takedown but Vikkus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Schultz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vikkus's waist but Vikkus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schultz off to one side. Vikkus darts in and clinches Schultz up against the cage. Vikkus jumps guard and drags Schultz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Vikkus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Vikkus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Schultz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Vikkus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schultz wants to get up but he can't break Vikkus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Vikkus is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Schultz is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Vikkus still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Vikkus has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! You can see the frustration on Schultz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Who's going to make the next move?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schultz struggling a bit here. Vikkus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schultz keeps working. Vikkus stands up. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Vikkus. Schultz shrugs it off though. Vikkus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vikkus pulls guard effortlessly. Schultz tries to stand but Vikkus is controlling from the bottom. Vikkus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vikkus wants to get back to his feet but Schultz passes into half guard.

Schultz scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vikkus is looking to escape. Schultz drops an elbow to the side of Vikkus's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eobard Vikkus dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vikkus gets a double leg takedown into Schultz's guard. Vikkus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Schultz has his hands on Vikkus's head, controlling the position. Vikkus tries to stand but Schultz is controlling from the bottom. Vikkus trying to control the position from guard on top but Schultz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schultz is pulling down on Vikkus's head to control his posture. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vikkus goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Schultz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vikkus but great work by Schultz. Vikkus is looking for a sweep. Schultz trying to control the position but Vikkus is working away. Schultz tries for a kimura but Vikkus is defending well. Schultz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schultz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Vikkus tries to improve position but can't. Vikkus is trying to control Schultz's posture but Schultz avoids it. Vikkus sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schultz wants to work for an arm triangle but Vikkus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Vikkus is looking for a sweep. Schultz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Vikkus is trying to stand up here but Schultz is controlling him well. Schultz not doing much here.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Schultz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vikkus is just riding it out for now. Schultz eventually gives up the hold. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eobard Vikkus will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Vikkus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Vikkus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schultz is proving hard to escape from. Schultz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vikkus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schultz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vikkus controls the pace. Schultz keeping moving, preventing Vikkus from controlling successfully. Vikkus being controlled here momentarily.

Schultz pulls Vikkus in close to his closed guard and prevents Vikkus from doing any damage or advancing position. Vikkus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Schultz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vikkus avoids it really well and circles away. Vikkus wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vikkus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Schultz to the ground. Vikkus is now in Schultz's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schultz is adopting a defensive guard. Vikkus trying to control but Schultz is working from the bottom. Vikkus being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schultz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Vikkus throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Schultz pulls Vikkus in close to his closed guard and prevents Vikkus from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Vikkus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Schultz. Vikkus is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Eobard Vikkus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vikkus lands with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schultz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vikkus on his heels. He'll look to pass Vikkus's guard now, I'm sure. Vikkus uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Vikkus drives through with a takedown into Schultz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Vikkus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. And that's the end of the fight! Eobard Vikkus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Vikkus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
