Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Slater (ranked 3385 p4p, 288 weight class) and Jazz Clementine (ranked 5088 p4p, 368 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slater might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chad VanGaalen - Blonde Hash. Jazz Clementine will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Clementine to the mat! Clementine manages to get full guard.
Slater controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Slater seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Clementine for as long as he can get away with.
Slater is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clementine wants to get back to his feet but Slater is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slater drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Slater as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Clementine screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Slater! Nice submission victory there!

Tim Slater really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RISE Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
