Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Reilly (ranked 5981 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjy Bronk (ranked 5987 p4p, 612 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Reilly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benjy Bronk! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Reilly fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bronk sprawls well initially but Reilly persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Reilly's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Reilly prevents Bronk from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronk trying to hold on to Reilly's head to control him but Reilly postures up.
Bronk tries to get to full guard but Reilly has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bronk closes the distance and clinches. Bronk is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reilly can't fight it off and eventually Bronk manages to take the fight to the floor. Reilly looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bronk lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronk working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bronk slips nicely into half guard. Bronk looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bronk wants to pass the guard but Reilly is defending well. The fighters are battling for position here. Reilly manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Reilly keeping moving, preventing Bronk from controlling successfully. Bronk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bronk passes Reilly's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Reilly looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Reilly could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Reilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bronk pulls his head out easily. Bronk is thwarting Reilly's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bronk connects with a nice short shot to Reilly's temple. Reilly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bronk with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bronk trying to control from half guard but Reilly is working away. Bronk working the head and body with strikes. Bronk looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bronk landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bronk lands a nice short elbow. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bronk in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronk working Reilly over with strikes.
It looks like Jason Reilly has been cut. Reilly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bronk is working away from the top position though. Reilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bronk pulls his head out easily. Reilly is breathing heavily. Reilly taking some punishment here, with Bronk in his half guard. Bronk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bronk lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Reilly quite badly. Reilly pulls Bronk in close trying to recover. Bronk postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Reilly on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Reilly doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benjy Bronk!
