Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rain Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Amadeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderkiss 65 by White Zombie. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tony Amadeus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rain Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Amadeus! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez throws a front kick that sends Amadeus stumbling back into the cage. A combination from Hernandez does no damage. Amadeus lands an overhand right. Hernandez swinging wilding here.
Hernandez lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch but Amadeus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A lazy body kick from Amadeus and Hernandez counters with a right hand to the body. Amadeus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hernandez.
Amadeus misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hernandez on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hernandez scores with a spinning back kick! Hernandez moves into the clinch. Hernandez jumps guard.
Hernandez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Amadeus won't allow Hernandez to get back to his feet. Hernandez keeping full guard, as Amadeus tries to pass. Hernandez looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amadeus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hernandez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hernandez wants to stand up but Amadeus is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hernandez gets a clinch. Amadeus can't break the clinch.
Hernandez keeps control of Amadeus as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Amadeus wants to break free but Hernandez has control.
Hernandez is working for takedown but Amadeus is calmly controlling the position for now. Hernandez tries to pull guard but Amadeus holds him up against the cage and eventually Hernandez drops back down to his feet.
Amadeus breaks from the clinch.
Tony Amadeus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Amadeus misses with a kick to the body and Hernandez counters with a shoot takedown. Amadeus fights it but they end up in guard. Hernandez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Amadeus controls Hernandez momentarily but Hernandez frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hernandez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hernandez wants to get up but he can't break Amadeus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Amadeus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hernandez manages to get himself to full guard.
Hernandez wants to sweep here but Amadeus controlling him for the moment. Amadeus passes Hernandez's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Amadeus seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Amadeus trying to control from Hernandez's half guard. Hernandez has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Hernandez is looking for a triangle but Amadeus pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Amadeus controls the pace. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hernandez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hernandez looking for a guillotine here but Amadeus defends easily.
Amadeus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hernandez is breathing heavily. Amadeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Amadeus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hernandez keeping moving, preventing Amadeus from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amadeus tries to free his leg and advance position but Hernandez is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Amadeus gets off balance looking for a body kick and Hernandez counters with a straight right hand. A slapping leg kick lands for Amadeus.
Amadeus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amadeus as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rain Hernandez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Amadeus throws a body kick that misses. Hernandez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Amadeus moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Amadeus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hernandez misses with a body kick. Amadeus misses with the body kick and Hernandez counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Amadeus misses with an uppercut. Hernandez saw that one coming. Amadeus throws a lazy body kick and Hernandez moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Amadeus wants to get back to striking at distance but Hernandez won't allow it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rain Hernandez dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hernandez stalks Amadeus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Amadeus's face. Amadeus staggers backwards, shaken. Amadeus misses with an uppercut. Hernandez saw that one coming. Hernandez misses with the combination.
A bone on bone clash there as Hernandez blocks the leg kick.
Amadeus throws a lazy body kick and Hernandez counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hernandez preventing the sweep. Hernandez wants to control from the top but Amadeus keeps moving. Amadeus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Amadeus wants to hit a switch here but Hernandez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Amadeus there! Amadeus is looking to improve his position but Hernandez isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amadeus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Amadeus is looking to improve his position but Hernandez isn't that keen on the idea. Amadeus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Amadeus blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hernandez. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Amadeus can do anything to dispel that myth. Amadeus wants to control but Hernandez is keeping busy.
Hernandez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hernandez wants to get back to his feet.

Amadeus wants to sweep but no luck. Hernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amadeus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Amadeus has Hernandez pulled in close to control his posture. Amadeus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hernandez tries to stand but Amadeus is controlling from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hernandez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amadeus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez working away. Hernandez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Amadeus sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Amadeus is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hernandez has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hernandez working away. Hernandez is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Amadeus can't do much from the bottom here. Hernandez wants to stand but Amadeus has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Hernandez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rain Hernandez dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Horrible takedown by Hernandez or perhaps it was just good defense by Amadeus which made him look bad. Amadeus misses with the body kick and Hernandez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Amadeus looks to land a body kick but Hernandez moved away. Hernandez tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Amadeus chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hernandez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Amadeus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hernandez working Amadeus over with strikes here. Amadeus bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Amadeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rain Hernandez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hernandez works his way to full guard. Good work. Hernandez striking off his back but it's not causing Amadeus any problems. Amadeus slips nicely into half guard. Hernandez trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amadeus passes to full mount! Amadeus controlling from the full mount. Hernandez flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Amadeus sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hernandez tries to lock up and control but Amadeus gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Amadeus controlling from mount. Hernandez tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rain Hernandez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Amadeus throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Amadeus lands a nice shot to the head. Hernandez tries to reverse the position but Amadeus maintains control. Amadeus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hernandez is looking to escape. Amadeus avoids the attempt from Hernandez to control. Amadeus controlling from mount. Hernandez sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hernandez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Amadeus.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Amadeus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hernandez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
