Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur The Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucky Luke! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luke takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The Knight lands a jab-cross combination. Luke takes a swing at The Knight's ribcage but misses. The Knight keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Luke. The Knight throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The Knight works over Luke's head and body with a nice combination. The Knight fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The Knight looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Luke is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. The Knight misses with a combination
and Luke counters with a shoot takedown. The Knight fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Luke trying to control the position from guard on top but The Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The Knight looking to control.
Luke stands and throws The Knight's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luke lands an elbow.

The Knight on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if The Knight tries to get out of the position. Luke has an Americana. The Knight didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Luke is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Luke hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
