The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandukvong lands a jab to the head.
Fury fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mandukvong sprawls well initially but Fury persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fury seems to be working for a kimura but Mandukvong defends the submission attempt. Fury is keen to just control but Mandukvong is a slippery customer. Fury moves nicely into side control. Fury wants to control but Mandukvong is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mandukvong tries to buck Fury off but Fury is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury has hold of Mandukvong's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mandukvong seems comfortable defending it but Fury has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mandukvong is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mandukvong is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fury couldn't care less - he's delighted!
