Fighter has chosen Primo Victoria, by Sabaton as his entrance music. Tre Barnes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barnes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barnes lands in his opponent's guard.
Barnes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fighter is keeping the position for now.
Barnes throwing strikes from guard but Fighter blocks nicely.
Barnes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter wants to stand up but Barnes is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Barnes moves out of range easily.
Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter moves away.
Fighter dips to his left and cracks Barnes with an uppercut!
Fist Fighter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter to the mat! Fighter manages to get full guard.
Barnes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Fighter wants to stand and escape but Barnes is having none of it.
Barnes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Barnes lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Barnes tries to bum rush Fighter with a series of wild strikes but Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fighter throws the left hand but Barnes avoids the punch easily.
Barnes fails with the takedown.
No luck for Barnes with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter lunges at Barnes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barnes's hand.
Tre Barnes's cut is getting worse.
Fighter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fighter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Barnes is rocked!
Tre Barnes's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Barnes throws a nice looking combination but Fighter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fighter is looking to score with low kicks.
Fighter lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
